Program raises funds for dual credit scholarships

The ISU Credit Union hosted their 9th annual luncheon today at the Clarion Hotel to raise money for their dual credit scholarship program.

Many companies were there who have shown support for high school students participating in the program.

Currently, more high school students are welcome to get involved to help pay for college in state.

“To date, we’ve raised about $60,000 over nine years. And thousands of kids have taken advantage of taking the classes while they’re still in high school so they can get their college start early,” said President CEO of the Pocatello and Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce, Matt Hunter.

All of the proceeds from today’s event go toward the scholarship fund.

The Chamber of Commerce is taking donations if you’d like to donate at (208)-233-1525
