Man arrested on drug charge, warrant
A man was arrested on a drug-trafficking charge in Bonneville County on Sunday.
Deputies were called to the Maverik store on 3290 S. Yellowstone for a suspicious acting man. They found Alonzo T. Peery, 48, of Boise, who had a felony parole violation warrant out for his arrest from Ada County.
Deputies found 2.9 pounds of marijuana inside Peery’s backpack.
He was arrested on the warrant and on a charge of felony trafficking of marijuana.
