Not-for-profit organization opens new resource center in Pocatello
(KIFI/KIDK) On Tuesday, people in the community and volunteers gathered together for the H.S. Jeshua Ministries ribbon cutting ceremony.
The executive director of the resource center said the not-for-profit organization was established in 2008. However, the organization has not had a permanent place to call home, until now.
“We help women coming out of prison and men coming out of prison and victims of abuse so we are coordinating with the community the best way we can make sure that we are not duplicating but we are being able to fill needs,” commented executive director, Merriann Forrest.
The resource center provides everything from clothing to life coaching for the people who use the center.
Members of the organization said the community can support the resource center in a couple of ways. If you are in the medical field, you can provide services to the people at the center. You can sponsor H.S. Jeshua Ministries or pray for them. You can also make a donation here .
The resource center is now located at 326 E. Center in Pocatello.
