Happening today, December 3rd, from 11:30 AM to 1 PM, the Outback Steakhouse on Lindsay Blvd in Idaho Falls is hosting a special Build-Your-Own-Burger Bar. Each meal is $15, with all proceeds going directly to funding the local Shop With a Cop program.

I love you guys, and I can’t wait to meet her,'” Jenkins said, “I think that that just shows the kind of person that he was and the kind of doctor that he was.”

A 46-year-old Bingham County man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Thanksgiving night in Bonneville County. The incident occurred on 15th West near 81st South.

Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies have identified the man as 46-year-old Steven Adams, a well-known obstetrician-gynecologist at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Concerned Idaho Falls residents spotted the cat last night and took to social media to ask for help. An IFP lineman was dispatched to the scene, facing a rescue attempt complicated by dangerous working conditions. Commenting on the difficulty of the rescue, IFP noted that they were unable to cut power to residents during the rescue, which meant the work had to be done “hot,”.
“We’re happy to report that thanks to the incredible skill and compassion of our utility lineman, the cat was safely rescued and is now back on solid ground!” Idaho Falls Power shared in a celebratory Facebook post.

“This effort is a way for our community to come together and support children and families facing difficult circumstances,” said Idaho Falls Firefighter Donovan Hendrix. “Last year, I witnessed people of all ages and demographics show up to give to those in need. I am honored to help lead this year’s toy drive with the IFFD as we again ask for the community’s support.”

Early voting for the Idaho Falls runoff election has been strong, with more than 1,080 in-person ballots cast and about 250 absentee ballots returned so far, but data shows that younger voters continue to have the lowest turnout.

Downtown Idaho Falls is about to light up like the scene of a classic holiday film. The Idaho Falls Downtown Development Corporation (IFDDC), the Idaho Falls Farmers Market, and the City of Idaho Falls inviting the entire community to the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Market on Saturday, November 22nd.

A 16-year-old boy from Menan, Idaho, was killed in a single-vehicle car accident late last night, Monday, November 10, in Jefferson County.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal crash took place around 10:54 p.m. near the intersection of 142 N and 3400 E, outside of Rigby.

Crews with Idaho Falls Power are responding to a power outage currently affecting 20 customers in the area bordered by Ray Street, Grace Avenue, and Lola Street following an incident involving a dump truck late Friday morning.

According to the energy provider, the truck collided with and knocked down a utility pole on Friday, November 7th, pulling down other poles, primary and secondary lines, as well as transformers in the area.

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the owner of a horse found wandering near 17th S. and 35th W. earlier this week.

Two drivers fortunately walked away without injury after a late-afternoon crash Tuesday at the intersection of Broadway and Park Avenue near the Celt in downtown Idaho Falls.

According to the Idaho Falls Police Department, the incident took place around 5:00 PM. Police say the first driver was traveling westbound on Broadway and attempted to turn left onto Park Avenue but failed to yield to oncoming traffic. The turning vehicle was struck by a car traveling in the opposite direction.
