A series of storms will be moving through the region over the next few days. Each of them has a chance to drop rain or snow, but warmer temperatures mean snow levels will rise through next Wednesday.  Highs could get as warm as the low 50s by mid-week. Mother Nature doesn’t look to be sending any major storm our way, we do have a couple on the horizon that could both bring a bit of snow to the mountains and even the valley floors. 

A series of storms will slide through the region over the next few days. Most of them are on the weaker side, but one of them could be a bit stronger.

A series of weak storms will slide through the region over the next few days. Temperatures will get cooler and closer to normal.  We’ll have some nice days in between those storms where the sun will break out making it feel nicer. 

An approaching cold front does wind and some snow flurries to kick off the workweek, but a bigger more significant storm doesn’t look to move through until next weekend.

We’ve had a few showers today, but the most significant rain/snow is still to come. 

After an underperforming Friday storm and a pleasant Saturday, we’ll finally get a proper fall storm with cold valley rain and mountain snow starting Sunday and continuing into Monday.

A front passing through means it will be unsettled for Friday. Count on clouds, wind, and rain, with some snow showers for the higher mountains. Highs will still be fairly mild in the 50s and low 60s so snow levels will be up there around 8000-9000 feet, and we’re only expecting a few inches at most.

Another front means more wind with a small chance of valley rain and mountain snow.

A nice start to the workweek, but more fronts keep things unsettled.

After several nice days, a series of fronts will keep things active for us. However, many of those fronts are on the weaker side, meaning we don’t expect a lot of showers nor will the winds overly strong but a little bit of both is still likely. 

Tonight, scattered rain and snow showers. Gradually dropping temps into the 30s and 20s means those that continue to see precipitation will get some snow. For those in the Snake River Plain, the showers will move out just as it transitions to snow so we’re not expecting any major totals for that region. It will also

We’ve seen a few pop-up showers over the past couple of days over the mountains. Valleys have occasionally seen showers, but for a lot of us it’s been dry. We are finally seeing a stormy and active forecast (woot!) after what’s been a very dry summer. We just have to get through a few more dry days first.

The second official day of summer is not feeling very summer-like. For those craving warmer weather, Mother Nature looks to answer with our gradually warming forecast. 

We have a winter weather advisory in place until 6pm Sunday for our central and northern mountains above 7500 feet in elevation.

As we kick off the holiday weekend, it seems mother nature is smiling on us with beautiful weather. In general, the forecast is very nice, but a few showers here and there are possible. 

After a chilly, rainy, and windy day, we’re now looking at a frosty evening.

Our stormy period continues a little bit longer, but then we enter a drier/warmer stretch. 

Mother nature throws us a big cooldown that could bring more mountain snow.
